Reflections on Flickr
O.K. So I'm not as fluent as I thought. I set up the Flickr account with no trouble. Added several photos from my 40th Reunion in Lake Chelan this September. I grouped them, then sent them (I think!) to my best school friend and brother. I should be able to do this some other way, I'm sure, but I used their site and sent the photos off with the invitation for my friend and brother to join Flickr. Does this happen every time you send photos? I tried to sent them via my comcast mail site, but couldn't do it. I guess if I have to transfer all my contacts (friends and family) to my new yahoo mail account....I won't be using this much. I already download photos in my shared documents and can easily send them to whomever I wish via my e-mail. I will have to explore other features on this website. I'm sure it offers much more than I've seen so far.
I'm actually getting RSS
I can't believe I just cruised through this assignment. It's true what they say about "practice makes perfect". O.K. So many of my attempts were not perfect, but it's definitely been easier maneuvering through all these new websites and I'm actually retaining most of the information. All these sites are so new to me. I never knew they were out there...let alone knew how to use them. This whole exercise has really given me a lot to think about. I just wish I had more time to spend on my computer.

20 Things So Far
I tried writing this blog earlier and thought it was saved in my 'drafts'. When I went in to published this, I hit the button and thought it went. However, it has disappeared somewhere in cyberspace and I'm going to have a go at it again. I thought I would write about my thoughts on the article 43 Things. I began to make a list this week of all the things I would like to accomplish in my life. I found that it was difficult coming up with such a large list and so the number now stands at 20. I will continue to add to the list every week and am looking forward to completing (or deleting/replacing) those 'things' on my list. I also just decided that I would go about it in a way that does not limit me by age, financial capability or any other would-be obstacle. The sky would be the limit. I expect now that my list will grow by leaps and bounds and am looking forward to using my creativity in expanding the list.
